The High School Art I course (open to grades 9 - 12) is the start of a four year option in a college preparatory curriculum. Insights into history, aesthetics, and criticism are developed.

The Advanced Art program (open to grades 10-12) consists of Art II, III, and IV grouped together. This class covers a variety of units in rotation over a 3 year period. Drawing skills are covered in this course every year. Other units covered are: Ceramics, Sculpture, Painting, Collage, Printmaking, and Mosaic.
Fine Arts Survey is a course that has become an integral part of the art program. This class is opened to grades (8-12). The year starts by defining the arts and developing a vocabulary for analysis. The class then follows the historical development of the arts while trying to make connections with their effect on our modern lives. Some of the assignments are designed to familiarize students with the arts in their community.
