Message from Mr. Menard:

I am thrilled to announce that after an excellent November 2 “Community Conversation” meeting invited broad input, and a November 4 Board of Advisors meeting weighed this input to make a recommendation to the administration, our schools will continue to be called Redemptorist High School, Redemptorist Junior High School, and Redemptorist Elementary School as they merge administrative functions under the Redemptorist Schools of Baton Rouge structure.

This is the first step in a broader process that will harness our 65 years of evolving history and tradition to build a strong and vibrant Redemptorist. I am heartened by the outpouring of support in the Redemptorist community for banding together not merely to have Redemptorist survive, but to thrive as a Redemptorist model of 21st Century Catholic education. As our community played an important role in this first step, engaged stakeholders will continue to play important roles as we envision and build a model that provides students today and into the future with top academic, athletic, and other opportunities amid the family spirit, spiritual formation, diversity, and other hallmarks of a Redemptorist education. I invite you to get involved to help us become the best Redemptorist we can be!

Peace,

Brian R. Menard
