Welcome to the Redemptorist Schools of Baton Rouge!

Our upper and lower schools form a PreK-12th grade Catholic community building leaders for the 21st Century. We seek to create young men and women of character who, upon graduation, go forth into the world not only with the skills to compete with peers around the world, but also the Gospel values that lead them to improve the world in which they live. Simply put, we transform lives to transform the world.

As the new Administrative Head of Schools, I extend our invitation to you and your child to join the RSBR community in this exciting time. As three schools – St. Gerard Elementary, St. Isidore Elementary, and Redemptorist High School – join their traditions and histories to form the PreK-12th grade Redemptorist Schools of Baton Rouge, the RSBR experience balances change and continuity: change, as we engage both new families and legacy families in the pursuit of our vision for the future; and continuity, as we build on the foundation of our common roots to continue bringing the timeless essence of the Redemptorist experience to life in the 21st Century.

In the following pages, you will learn about our academic program and the broader culture that creates the Redemptorist experience. That culture offers several important components:

• Academic Excellence
• Faith Formation
• Family Spirit
• Real World Diversity
• Athletic Tradition
• Expectations and Accountability

Of note this year are two new tuition discounts described in the following pages: a “legacy discount” for children/grandchildren/great-grandchildren of alumni, and a “referral discount” for families who refer others to RSBR.

Our admission process is led by Admissions Coordinator Tarra Ferguson, who is happy to work with you as you go through the steps. The best way to learn the warm and inviting culture we have on campus is for your student to spend a day as a “shadow” to a current student. To set up a shadow day or a campus tour, please contact Ms. Ferguson at Tara Ferguson or 225-357-0936 x240. The time spent getting to know our students and faculty will help you and your child find your place in our community, joining students and alumni across the region in saying, “I am Redemptorist!”

Peace,
Brian R. Menard
