Summer Reading 2009
Please read the journal instructions very carefully for the summer reading assignment for the grade-level you will be enrolled in for the 2009 – 2010 school year. (Just click on the link below of the class you are scheduled to take next school year). Upon returning to school in August, you will set up a new TurnItIn.com account and submit your summer reading journal(s). Along with your journal, you will take a test on the novel you read. This test will focus on characters, setting, major events, conflicts, and themes. The journal and the test are each worth 100 points which will be the first major grades of the 1st 9 weeks of your English class. Honors students will only take one test, and it will cover the same novel that the regular English classes read. English IV AP will not have a test. |
